Dr. Michelle McElroy knew she wanted to be a doctor from the time she was 8 years old. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with an option in Biomedical engineering. She then went to Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine to receive her D.O.
From Missouri, she returned home to Michigan to complete her residency in OB/GYN. Shortly after starting to practice medicine, she realized that what she had been taught in medical school and residency wasn’t curing her patients with chronic conditions. She began to look for other options.
She became certified in Bio-identical Hormone Replacement (BHRT) which tremendously helped her patients but it wasn’t enough.
